Carrying Panditji's Vision Forward
Every teacher at Shrutinandan International is a direct disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, trained in his unique scientific method of imparting Indian Classical Music. Together, our US-based and visiting faculty carry Panditji's teaching lineage — the Patiala-Kasur gharana gayaki — to students across the United States and beyond.
Padma Bhushan · Patiala-Kasur Gharana
Panditji is the guiding force and main faculty of Shrutinandan International, personally leading the live online class every alternate Saturday and setting the pedagogical foundation followed by every teacher in the Shrutinandan family.
A towering figure among Indian Classical vocalists, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Royal Albert Hall, and holds the Padma Bhushan (2020) and Padma Shri (2011) among numerous honors. All of our faculty — in the US and in India — are his direct disciples, trained personally by him in the scientific Shrutinandan method.
